People often ask me about the inspiration behind the name of my photography business. Now, I can almost hear your thoughts—Harry Potter enthusiast, right? Surprisingly, I must confess I haven't actually watched any of the Harry Potter movies. To all my clients who are devoted fans, rest assured we can still be great pals! Growing up in sunny Southern California and having the privilege to frequent Disneyland, plus working at the Disneyland resort in my early adult years, infused my business with a sense of nostalgia. This nostalgia links my childhood and adult life, and I aimed to extend this affection to my business, capturing the same fervor that Disney fans worldwide hold dear. When I was brainstorming my business name, my goal was to create something distinct yet personally meaningful. "A Wave of the Wand Photography" signifies to me the role of Cinderella's fairy godmother—arriving at my clients' weddings armed with that magical wand, ready to encapsulate every single moment from start to finish.
